Hi! My name is Lyzi Diamond.
I’m a documentation engineer and technical writer with experience in developer relations, geospatial technology, and technical education. I like to write clear, kind docs that meet people where they are.
Recently I’ve been diving back into building geospatial apps and modernizing some old projects for our new AI-enabled world. I recently wrote Hazard Viewer, a web app for assessing natural hazard risks in the United States based on FEMA data and Claude AI. I’ve also been updating old projects like Centroids as a Service, a wrapper around Shapely that transforms GeoJSON features into centroids.
Right now I’m looking for a job! I’m also looking to get involved in open source projects, geospatial or otherwise. Let’s chat!
